鋼襯塑儲罐檢修周期分為兩種：中修和大修，中修一般是2-4個月，大修一般是一年，對于中修的話，就是清洗或更換液位計修理或更換進、出口及排污閥門疏通清理冷卻水盤管。檢查修理安全閥放空阻火器，修補防腐層和絕熱層。大修就包括中修項目修理儲罐內件，對發現有裂紋，嚴重腐蝕等部位，相應修補或更換筒節。根據內外部檢驗要求，以及經過修補或更換筒節后，進行試漏，對成功內外部檢驗中發現的其他問題進行處理。
